Bids exceeding £330,000 were received at St Richard’s Hospice auction for 41 penguin statues from the popular Waddle of Worcester trail.
The collection included 40 large penguins and one baby penguin. The auction, led by experienced auctioneer Philip Serrell at the DRPG building in Hartlebury, saw impressive bids with ‘Waddle I Do Without You’ fetching the highest value of £21,000.
Additionally, four other sculptures sold for over £10,000 each.
