Gang Sentenced to 94 Years for Large-Scale Drug Supply

A group of drug dealers responsible for flooding Worcestershire and Herefordshire with cocaine and cannabis has been sentenced to a combined total of 94 years and four months at Crown Court.

Paul Bailey, 56, of Redditch, received a 20-year sentence at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, 31 March, marking the final verdict in a complex investigation by the Regional Organised Crime Unit for the West Midlands Region (ROCUWM), known as Operation Pyrogenic.

The operation, conducted between April 2020 and July 2021, uncovered a large-scale drug distribution network operating across Worcestershire, Herefordshire, and the wider West Midlands, with links as far as Lincolnshire and Devon.

Sentences Handed Down:

• Paul Bailey, 56 (Redditch) – 20 years

• Jamie Worrall, 38 (Kidderminster) – 17 years (Sentenced 6 Nov)

• Arron Adams, 39 (Worcester) – 22 years (Sentenced 6 Nov)

• Adam Nicholls, 42 (Worcester) – 23 years (Sentenced 6 Nov)

• Nicola Everton, 37 (Hindlip, Worcester) – 6 years (Sentenced 6 Nov)

• Phillip Smith, 57 (Worcester) – 6 years 4 months (Sentenced 8 Nov)

• Shaun Carr, 39 (Worcester) – 10-month suspended sentence for money laundering (Sentenced 6 Nov)

This investigation has dismantled a major drug supply chain, preventing significant quantities of cocaine and cannabis from reaching the streets.
