What is the Colour Run?
Get ready for one of the most joyful and colourful events of the school year – the KPS PTFA Colour Run returns on Friday 27th June! Once again, we’re incredibly grateful to Revolution Fitness Worcester for their generous sponsorship of this event. Your continued support helps bring the Colour Run to life – thank you!
If you’re new to the event, here’s how it works: pupils run laps of a marked course while volunteers at designated stations throw safe, non-toxic, and fully washable coloured powder into the air. The result? Dozens of delighted children dashing through clouds of colour – a true celebration of joy, energy and school spirit! 🌈
Each child will receive a white t-shirt and sunglasses to wear during the run – perfect for becoming a walking rainbow!
Courses:
- KS1 pupils will run a 250m course.
- KS2 pupils will complete laps of a 400m course.Each route will feature six colour stations positioned around the school grounds.

Families can purchase a professional photograph of their child, taken at the end of the run – a perfect memento of a colourful and proud achievement (please note: these are not action shots during the run).

Fundraising for a New Sensory Garden
While the Colour Run is a highlight for our pupils, it’s also one of our most expensive events to host. This year’s fundraising focus is the creation of a new garden space around the sensory pod – a calm, inclusive area for all children to enjoy.
Sponsorship forms have been sent home – donations can be returned to class teachers or the school office.

Important Note: Due to space and safety restrictions, parents are not able to attend the event in person – but rest assured, we’ll be sharing the excitement through photos!
