A 22-year-old man has died following a motorbike crash on the A4440 near Worcester this morning. The fatal incident occurred at around 9.35am at the roundabout connecting St Peter’s Drive and Norton Road, and involved a Kawasaki ZX-600 motorcycle. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Norton Road, between the A4440 and the roundabout at Crookbarrow Road and Talavera Road, is expected to remain closed for several hours while police carry out forensic investigations and recover the vehicle.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“Norton Road is likely to remain closed from the A4440 to the roundabout at the junctions of Crookbarrow Road and Talavera Road for several hours while forensic examinations continue and the vehicle is recovered.
We’d like to hear from anyone who saw the collision, or who may have dashcam footage of the incident or of the motorcycle shortly beforehand.”
