BREAKING: Kempsey Parish Council Provides Clothes Bin!

Yes, you read that right – after what feels like a decade or two of dithering, Kempsey finally has a clothes recycling bin. A small but mighty victory for common sense! If only it didn’t take umpteen years and a council subcommittee or two to get there…

But let’s not stop at celebrating bins.

🚧 Plovers Rise Project – Remember That?

You’d be forgiven for thinking it was a myth. The much-promised development has been stone cold silent for four years. Not a spade in sight. One wonders just how much public money has vanished into planning, meetings, and… well, nothing.

🚫 Speaking of Plovers – That Fence.

The Parish Council managed to erect a lovely new fence to stop residents from accessing the hard standing (that no one was using anyway), yet mysteriously left all the dumped rubbish untouched. We reported this four months ago. The rubbish is still there. The irony is alive and well.

🔍 A Thought:

How many bins, fences, or even finished projects could we have had by now if things were managed a little better? We’re all for progress, but maybe it’s time we asked the Parish Council to be a bit more transparent, a bit more accountable – and just a touch faster?
