Fireworks Night Raises £15,445 for the School

Kempsey Primary School PTFA has issued a message of thanks following the success of this year’s Fireworks Event, held on Saturday 8th November. The evening attracted a record crowd and has now been confirmed as the most successful event to date, raising an impressive £15,445 for the school.

PTFA Thanks the Community

The PTFA extended its gratitude to the committee members who dedicated countless hours to planning and delivering the event. Their ongoing commitment, teamwork and attention to detail have helped establish the fireworks night as one of the village’s standout annual occasions.

Appreciation for Staff and Volunteers

Teachers, school staff and volunteers also received recognition for their involvement. From setting up and running the event to packing everything away, the PTFA highlighted how essential volunteer support is for an event of this scale.

Acknowledgement of Key Supporters

A number of organisations, businesses and individuals provided support, equipment or services that contributed to the event’s success. The PTFA shared specific thanks to:

  • Bark & Nurd – for providing the music and audio support
  • Mark Harrison (HTE Solutions) – for managing electrics and lighting
  • Digaway & Clearaway Recycling Ltd – for supplying the skip
  • Tesco Superstore volunteers – for their continued annual support
  • MPG-Transport – for transport assistance
  • Hilton Clearance – for providing bins and on-site help
  • Danters Fun Fair – for their support
  • The Anchor Inn, Kempsey – for use of their car park
  • Kempsey CIC – for their continued community support
  • All food vendors – for serving throughout the evening
  • Glowman – for running the glow stall
  • Malvern Hills District Council – for repeatedly sweeping the car park ahead of the event
  • HSS – for supplying safety barriers

Community Support Makes the Difference

The PTFA expressed sincere thanks to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered or contributed in any way. Community support, they said, plays a vital role in enabling the school to host events that benefit pupils, families and the wider village.

The PTFA is already looking ahead to next year’s event, building on another outstanding and memorable evening for Kempsey.
