Kempsey Fireworks Lights Up the Sky Once Again!

What a night in Kempsey! Thousands of residents and visitors turned out for the annual Kempsey Fireworks, organised by the Friends of Kempsey Primary School and Partners. The event once again proved why it’s one of the most anticipated dates on the village calendar – bringing together families, friends, and neighbours for a spectacular evening of community spirit.

The night delivered a fantastic fireworks display, paired with music, food, lights, and a funfair that kept smiles on faces from start to finish.

Music, lighting, and special effects were powered by local events team Bark & Nurd, setting the atmosphere and adding that professional festival feel, while PepperPot Fireworks delivered an incredible show – bursts of colour lighting up the night sky perfectly in sync with the soundtrack, earning plenty of “oohs” and “aahs” from the crowd.

Of course, no village event would be complete without amazing food and drink – and this year’s line-up was one of the best yet! A Huge Thank You to the Food & Drink Vendors: Hooked and Cooked, Brisket Bros, Bubble Waffle Worcester, Anil’s, Brownz Catering, Kempsey Colts FC, Lovely Jubbly Tea Stop and the PTFA Bar

Thank you to each of you for braving the cold, serving with a smile, and helping make the night such a success.

Beyond the entertainment and fireworks, the event continues to play a vital role in raising funds for Kempsey Primary School and it’s PTFA, directly supporting the children and school projects that benefit the whole community.

A huge thank you also goes to everyone who volunteered, sponsored, or simply came along to enjoy the evening – your support makes events like this possible.

We can’t wait to see what Kempsey Fireworks 2026 brings – if it’s anything like this year, it’ll be another night to remember!
