Residents are advised that Footpath F60296, which links the A38 Main Road to Windmill Lane, will be temporarily closed to allow essential electricity works to take place.
The closure will apply to a section of the footpath starting 46 metres north of its junction with the A38 Main Road, extending for 35 metres in a northerly direction.
The closure is required to enable National Grid to install a replacement electricity cable.

Proposed Order: to close that part of Link Footpath F60296 linking A38 Main Rd to Windmill
Ln from a point 46 metres north of its junction with A38 Main Rd for a distance of 35 metres in
a northerly direction.
Reason: Replacement electricity cable by National Grid
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where
there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Link Footpath F60297 (btw nos. 99 and 10), A38 Main Road and vice
versa
