We’ve got mail, well and update from Martin Allen.
The vegetation has been cut back and the remaining 2 lighting columns have been installed. The lighting team managed to connect one of the two columns and will be returning this Thursday 10th to connect the final column to the feeder pillar.

The RSA3 Safety Audit has had to be pushed back because the lighting is an integral part of the crossing design, without this the RSA3 would have failed.
Road Safety Team’s next available date is Wednesday 16th October and will be carried out around 6:15 pm. If the crossing passes the RSA3 they will leave it open to the public.
So, hopefully, by Wednesday evening, the crossing should be officially open.
