Exciting news! The installation of a new Puffin Crossing in the village is finally underway. Over the next 20 days, essential road works will be carried out to make way for the much-needed crossing. This includes replacing kerbs, widening footways, laying ducting, installing lighting, and resurfacing and lining the carriageway.
The new puffin crossing will be located opposite the Kempsey Community Centre. A spokesperson from Worcestershire Highways has confirmed that the works to install the crossing on the A38 in Kempsey have begun today and are expected to be completed within 20 days.
