Well, the votes are in, and Kempsey and the surrounding area has spoken – loud and clear! In a thumping victory, Martin Allen of the Green Party has scooped up 2,027 votes , claiming a cracking 63.52% of the vote and leaving the rest trailing in the compost heap.

So, it’s a big green tick for Martin—and we genuinely wish him all the best. Leading your community is no small feat, and we hope he brings something fresh and rooted in real change.
