Friends of Kempsey Primary School the team responsible for planning and hosting the annual Kempsey fireworks display have their best fundraising year yet. The much bigger event held in November has reportedly made £10,284.54 in much needed funds.

Their goal is to raise funds towards a dedicated Sensory Room where every child can flourish, learn and thrive.

A sensory room is a sanctuary designed to engage and stimulate the senses, providing a therapeutic space for students to unwind, focus, and develop essential skills. It is particularly beneficial for children with sensory processing differences, fostering a positive learning environment for all.

The fundraising achievement is testament to the power of the local community coming together to support this annual village event; of the hours and hours of hardwork and dedication put in by the wonderful PTFA volunteers and the generosity of local companies who supported our efforts.
