River levels are falling slowly but remain high at the Kempsey Yacht Club river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and Squires walk in the area of the Hatfield Brook, Kempsey. Kempsey Flood Alleviation scheme is operational.
Some further rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours, we expect river levels to remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation.
