River levels are rising on the Avon and Severn after heavy rain and are expected to remain high as flooding is expected in parts of Worcestershire and some roads have already been closed.
Pixham Ferry Lane is currently flooded, and the Kempsey Ford is at 6m please avoid both these areas. As usual the Ham is doing its job and is now fully flooded.
We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water.
