Save the Date! On 6th June 2024 a special Beacon lighting ceremony will take place on Kempsey Common to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day Kempsey D-Day80 celebration
From 7:30 PM onwards, immerse yourself in the era with a vintage singer performing wartime classics, the uplifting tunes of The Malvern Brass Band, and a fascinating Pop-Up Museum from the Defford Museum at Croome Court, shedding light on our area’s WW2 history.
Indulge in delicious food and drinks, including Fish & Chips and a Licensed Bar, while the youngsters bounce around on the bouncy castle. Don’t miss the highlight of the evening – beacon lighting at 9:15 PM. See you there! 🎉
