Kempsey Community Centre
The Community Centre is the former village primary school building at the north end of Kempsey. The Parish Council operates Room One, a meeting and function room with an adjacent small kitchen and toilets.
The room is approximately 30ft × 16ft, with tables and chairs available, and comfortably seats around 50 people conference-style. It is used for fitness groups, camera club, craft and bridge, and can also be booked for meetings, parties and gatherings.
Kempsey Youth Centre
The Youth Centre sits at Plovers Rise Playing Fields and has a larger main hall suitable for parties, events, groups and classes. Regular users include 6th Worcester (Kempsey) Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, Stepping Stones Toddler Group, fitness and dance classes.
The main hall is approximately 49ft × 26ft, with a fitted kitchen plus tables and chairs. The ceiling is around 9ft high, which can restrict some indoor bouncy castles.
Plovers Rise Playing Fields
Plovers Rise is one of Kempsey’s main recreation areas, with playing fields, a children’s playground, outdoor fitness equipment and sports facilities. The outdoor fitness stations sit between the Sports Pavilion and playground and are provided for public use.
Tennis Court 3 is available for public hire at published times through Kempsey Lawn Tennis Club.
Kempsey Parish Hall
Often known locally as the “Tin Hut”, Kempsey Parish Hall is on Main Road and is used for classes, groups, parties and community activities. Published venue information lists a hall, kitchen, stage and parking.
