Worcestershire County Council is currently reviewing its Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP) – a legal requirement and an important policy that shapes how the county’s public rights of way network is managed now and for the future. You can find out more about ROWIPs here: GOV.UK guidance.
This review will help us better understand the needs of local residents and communities. The updated ROWIP will set priorities for:
- Health and wellbeing
- Accessibility for people with disabilities and mental health needs
- Growth and regeneration
- Transport and sustainable travel
- Climate change and the environment
- Tourism and local economy
👉 We’d like your views. Please take a few minutes to complete our questionnaire at www.worcestershire.gov.uk/RoWIPengage before midnight on 26th October.
This is a public survey – feel free to share with friends, neighbours, or groups in your area. A poster is attached if you’d like to display or circulate it.
📧 If you’d prefer to email your response, or need further information, please contact sbayne@worcestershire.gov.ukbefore the closing date.
⚠️ Please note: there is a separate survey specifically for Parish Councils.

The draft ROWIP will be published in 2026, and you’ll be invited to comment before it is finalised.
