Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War to honour armed forces members who have died in the line of duty. The day is also marked by war remembrances in several other non-Commonwealth countries.
Here’s our message for them below, and live coverage
On Remembrance Sunday we pause,
To honor those who gave their all.
Brave soldiers who answered the call,
And sacrificed for freedom’s cause.
We remember those who fought and fell,
In battles fought so long ago.
Their bravery and courage still show,
In the stories that history tells.
We pay tribute to the heroes lost,
Whose sacrifice will not be in vain.
Their memory we will forever maintain,
Their legacy forever embossed.
So let us bow our heads in prayer,
And remember those who gave their all.
Their courage and sacrifice will never fall,
For their memory we will always care.
On Remembrance Sunday we come together,
To honor those who fought so brave.
Their sacrifice we will always save,
In our hearts they will live forever.
