Many in Kempsey and the wider Worcester area will know and love Larry, the much-cherished Santa Claus at St Peter’s Garden Centre for so many years.
With the full support of his family, St Peter’s Garden Centre have shared the deeply sad news that Larry has passed away.
Larry wasn’t just a man in a red suit – he was Christmas for so many local families. Year after year, he brought magic, warmth, and genuine joy to countless children and adults alike. There was simply no one quite like him, and he leaves behind some very large snow-boots to fill.
St Peter’s have confirmed that they’ve recruited some wonderful Santas for this year who will be honouring Larry’s legacy and keeping that Christmas spirit alive for everyone who visits.
As a community, we say thank you, Larry – for the smiles, the memories, and the sparkle you brought not only to St Peter’s Garden Centre, but to all of us who had the pleasure of meeting you. What a gift it was to call you our Santa for so many years.
