Local residents will want to be aware of an important and time-sensitive development regarding the proposed housing application at Bannut Hill and Napleton Lane.
Martin Allen has shared the following update after receiving new information from Malvern Hills District Council.
The application is now scheduled to go before the Northern Area Planning Committee with an Officer recommendation for approval. This meeting will take place at:
Wednesday 3rd December
6pm MHDC Offices, Avenue Road, Malvern
This stage is crucial, and community presence can make a significant impact.
A formal site visit has also been arranged for:
Monday 1st December
9:30am Starting from the playing field
Councillors and planning officers will walk from the playing field to Bannut Hill, then along Napleton Lane to the proposed site entrance, before returning by the same route. Residents are encouraged to attend, bring signs or banners, and make their concerns clear.
Although Martin Allen does not sit on this planning committee and therefore cannot vote, he has confirmed that he will be registering to speak as an objector at the meeting.
Your two district councillors, David Harrison and John Michael, do sit on the committee. Because of this, they are not allowed to publicly comment in advance, otherwise they would lose their right to vote.
Community turnout matters. It has made a difference before, and it can again.
How residents can help:
Attend the site visit on Monday 1st December. Bring signs, banners, and make your views known.
Attend the planning committee on Wednesday 3rd December at the MHDC offices. A strong resident presence sends a clear message to decision-makers.
A message from Martin Allen:
“We did it last time — let’s do it again and show them. Thank you for your time, and have a great weekend.”
