Kempsey Parish Council Meeting Returns… and yes, there’s a LOT on the agenda!

Struggling to sleep on a Monday night? We’ve found the cure… or perhaps the solution… depending on how much you enjoy local democracy. 😆

The next Kempsey Parish Council meeting is taking place at the Community Centre, and there’s plenty to discuss including:

The Pavilion Community Café
The Sports Pavilion refurbishment
The proposed IT & Youth Hub
The Pump Track project
Fibre broadband upgrades across the Commons
Community funding projects
Committee updates
Finance and budgets

And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also Public Question Time, where residents can raise issues and ask questions. So if you’ve ever typed “Does anyone know what’s going on?” into a Kempsey Facebook group, this is your chance to ask the people who actually might know. 😄

The agenda runs to several pages, proving once again that parish councils aren’t just about deciding who buys the biscuits for meetings.

With topics ranging from youth facilities and broadband upgrades to community projects and funding opportunities, there’s quite a bit happening behind the scenes in the village.

Whether you’re interested in the future of Kempsey, have a question you’d like answered, or simply want to see local democracy in action, residents are welcome to attend.

Just remember… if you’re planning to raise an issue, you might want to bring a notebook, a pen, and possibly a packed lunch. 😂
