Brookend Lane is getting a little makeover between the 5th and 7th of May, and yes, that means temporary traffic lights. Somewhere between “just before you leave the village” and “where you inevitably get stuck behind a tractor.”
If you’re heading out, allow a bit of extra time — or prepare to perfect your traffic light small talk and wave awkwardly at drivers coming the other way.
Stay patient, stay calm… and maybe don’t leave it till the last minute to go get milk.
