Kempsey Village Fireworks returns this November

One of Kempsey’s biggest community events is back this November, with the Kempsey School Village Fireworks Party returning to Plovers Rise Playing Fields.

Organised by Friends of Kempsey Primary School PTFA, this year’s fireworks party will take place on Saturday 7 November 2026. Gates will open at 4pm, with the main fireworks display expected to begin at around 6pm.

There will be plenty happening throughout the evening alongside the fireworks, including a licensed bar, hot food, hot drinks from Lovely Jubbly Tea Stop, popcorn and candyfloss, light-up and glow toys, children’s fairground rides and a live DJ.

Early bird tickets are currently available, priced at £7.50 for adults and £4 for children. Children aged three and under can attend free of charge, although a free ticket must still be booked for them.

Everyone attending will need a valid ticket, which will be scanned on entry. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Organisers are encouraging visitors to walk to the event where possible, as there will be no parking available on site. Anyone travelling by car is asked to park responsibly and be considerate of local residents.

Sparklers are not permitted at the event, and visitors should also be aware that bag checks may be carried out on entry.

The annual fireworks party is an important fundraiser for Friends of Kempsey Primary School PTFA, helping the charity continue to support Kempsey Primary School and its pupils.
