Kempsey Village Fireworks returns this November

One of Kempsey’s biggest community events is back this November, with the Kempsey School Village Fireworks Party returning to Plovers Rise Playing Fields.

Alongside the fireworks, there will be plenty happening throughout the evening, including a licensed bar, hot food, hot drinks from Lovely Jubbly Tea Stop, popcorn and candyfloss, light-up and glow toys and children’s fairground rides.

Early bird tickets are currently available, priced at £7.50 for adults and £4 for children. Children aged three and under can attend free of charge, although a free ticket must still be booked for them.

Everyone attending will need a valid ticket, which will be scanned on entry. Children under 18 must also be accompanied by an adult.

Organisers are encouraging visitors to walk to the event where possible as there will be no parking available on site. Visitors who do drive are being asked to park responsibly and consider local residents.

Sparklers are not permitted at the event, and attendees should also be aware that bag checks may be carried out on entry.

The annual fireworks party is an important fundraiser for Friends of Kempsey Primary School PTFA, helping the charity continue to support Kempsey Primary School and its pupils.
