It’s nearly that time again… bunting, raffle prizes, cake stalls and that unbeatable community buzz – yes, the Kempsey Church Fete is just around the corner, and it’s going to be fabulous.
Over the next couple of weeks, you should receive a little something through your letterbox:
- A bright and cheerful flyer with all the event details
- Two books of Raffle Tickets (because one is never enough)
- And all the info you need to take part in this year’s festivities
The prizes this year are AMAZING – we’re talking proper wow-factor stuff, not just a dusty bottle of sherry and a sad packet of biscuits. So don’t forget to fill in those stubs and get your tickets in early!
Now, a little patience, please – the envelopes are being hand-delivered by an elite squad of volunteers and mildly bribed teenagers, so it may take a few days to reach your door.
If you’d be happy to help deliver to your own road or close, we’d be extremely grateful. Just get in touch – your knees and step count may never forgive you, but the village certainly will appreciate it.
And if, by chance, your envelope doesn’t appear – don’t worry. Spare packs will be available in the church.
We can’t wait to see you all there – sun hats on, raffle tickets in hand, and ready to enjoy another brilliant day in Kempsey!
