The fire was found on Bestmans Lane shortly after 8pm on Sunday (September 7). A fire service spokesperson said: “A crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 8.08pm on September 7 to a fire in the open in Bestmans Lane.
“A fire involving building waste, around 3m by 3m, was extinguished using one hose reel jet and the surrounding area, which was checked using a thermal imaging camera, dampened down. “There were no casualties. Police also attended.”
